About The Role
Drake Business Services Asia is a leading provider of Office Support Services in the Philippines, enabling our clients to focus on what they do best.
We’re looking for a Training and Engagement Officer for our Head Office based in Makati City to ensure the employees are equipped with the necessary training and kept engaged.
As a member of the Human Resources team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training and engagement programs to employees in the organization. Additionally, the Training and Engagement Officer is responsible for evaluating both the employees, the training programs and engagement activities to ensure their effectiveness.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and delivering training programs for employees, ensuring its effectiveness.
- Evaluating employees before and after training to determine the effectiveness of the training program.
- Collating and analyzing employee feedback for use in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
- Ensuring that training programs and materials are up-to-date and relevant to the organization’s needs.
- Ensuring that all employees receive the appropriate training required to carry out their roles effectively.
- Providing coaching to employees who require further assistance with their roles.
- Developing training programs for managers on leadership practices that enhance employee engagement.
- Implementing and overseeing mentorship and peer recognition programs.
- Coordinating with managers and employees on improving employee satisfaction.
- Establishing and maintaining an open-door policy for employees to communicate with management.
- Monitoring and reporting on engagement metrics and making recommendations for improvement.
- Facilitating and conducting employee engagement programs for employees.
- Collaborating with the Operations and Marketing departments for brainstorming and engagement activities.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resource Management, or related field.
- Has 3-5 years of experience designing and delivering training programs in an ISO certified company.
- With an organizational/developmental background is preferred but not required.
- Expert in implementing employee engagement programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to deal with employees at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Ability to work in a team and ability to work independently.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Willing to work onsite in Makati City
